Britney was spotted arriving at the Conway Studios in Hollywood for the recording looking stylish in skinny jeans, a ruffled collared top and high heeled boots.
Swedish music producer and songwriter Max Martin worked on Britney's first three studio albums and her hit "...Baby One More Time" for her album with the same name.
Dr. Luke contributed three songs to Circus, including the album's title track.
In March Britney's record label Jive confirmed that the 28-year-old singer had started work on her seventh studio album. No release date has been announced.
