Spears will perform for the show in San Francisco on March 29, the day of her Femme Fatale release.
Britney Spears is at announcing her first live television performance to promote her March 29 album release, Femme Fatale. The day the album drops, Spears will hit the stage for "Good Morning America," she shared in a video message for her fans.
Wearing a nude-colored bandage dress and a heart necklace, Spears got right to the point in the 24-second clip.
"Good morning, America," she said, her voice sounding a bit low and hoarse. "I'm excited to tell you on Tuesday morning, March 29, I'll be performing for the first time ever in a special concert in San Francisco's historic Castro district on 'Good Morning America.' And I promise you it'll be a morning to remember. See you soon!"
Spears appeared on "GMA" in December 2008, the day she released Circus, and performed tracks in an over-the-top spectacle of a three-ring circus.'
Though she has yet to do any interviews to promote her single, "Hold It Against Me," the star recently shared that she had every intention of making the press rounds for Femme Fatale. In a recent Twitter chat with fans, Spears revealed her plans. "I'm doing a lot of promo," she said. "I'm thinking about the tour right now, and I would [love] to visit a lot of places I didn't get to go to on my last tour."
